We had a lot of fun going reading and hearing nursery rhymes this week. We read some that I had never heard of myself! Today, we had to see if we were smarter than "all the kings horses and all the kings men" and had to try to put Humpty Dumpty together again. They students worked in groups of 2 or 3 and could use anything in the room to put Humpty Dumpty together. Everyone worked well together - took turn and listened to each other. Not all groups were able to put him back together though. And the ones that did - somehow Humpty shrunk a little! Haaa!
Also, this week, our jack-o-lantern crashed and fell on his head! We talked about what happened to the pumpkin and what the mold was. Then yesterday, when the ground wasn't too wet, we took him outside to the Outdoor Garden so that it can decompose. We'll go and check on him and see how it progresses!
