It's been a great week - with some new faces! On Tuesday, fresh off a long weekend (for the kids, not the teachers), a new student joined our class! Janice! Everyone has been great and made her feel welcome and a part of our class. You would not know she was new - she adjusted so well and adopted our routines so seamlessly! Way to go, Janice! We are excited you are with us!
Kelly did an amazing job as Scientist of the Week with her Balloon Rocket experiment. The class loved it and asked some great questions.
This past week and next week, we are learning about dinosaurs! Usually a favorite amongst kindergartners and this year was no different. The class made great cut-outs of dinosaurs - some looked so life-like, I was scared! ;) And today, the class amazed me again with their fantastic writing about their dinosaur. If you are in the building for lunch or volunteering, please stop by our hallway and check-out the fabulous work!
Hope everyone has a restful weekend! We have more exciting dinosaur adventures next week - including a field trip!!!!!
