Happy New Year!!! We survived the 1st week back and I think the kids had an easier adjustment back than I did! ;) The kids all had great stories to share about their break - it sounds like everyone had a fun break and a little bit of time to relax and just chill out.
I am so excited - Scientist of the Week has been going wonderfully! The kids are all very excited about it and have done a spectacular job with it. Keep up the fantastic work!
Field trip permission slips have been sent home this week. We will be going to the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science later in the month. The permission slip and money are due Tuesday, January 11th - if you have not sent it in, please send it in soon.
The weather is changing (please make sure to check the weather carefully next week). We may or may not be able to go to recess, depending on what the temperature is when we go out - so please make sure you send your child to school appropriately dressed. Layers are best, as it can get warm in the room sometimes. Also, with the weather changing, if your child still has summer clothes in their cubby for their extra set, please send some "winter wear" for the emergency set. Thank you.
