I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and are well rested. The children came back refreshed and ready to start the week! I think they all went to bed early last night so they would have energy for me today! ;) I received lots of great hugs this morning as the children came to class, and some during the day too. We had a great Monday, remembering our routines and getting into the groove of things. Some of us were missing our moms, dads, and family a little. But once we got involved in an activity - we forgot about our sadness. We are in for a long week - our 1st full week, but will then be rewarded with a 3 day weekend! Yeah. I'm sure we'll need it by then.
Reminder - Tuesday, 9/1 is Curriculum Night and it is for parents only, from 6-7.

- I was born and raised in NYC. Over 10 years ago, I met my husband, Joe, right here in Dallas, while we were attending training for our job. He lived in Houston at the time, and we went our separate ways. A couple of years later, he moved to NY for a career change and partly because I "never" thought I'd move to Texas (famous last words!). We got married in 2003 and moved to Dallas in 2004 so that I could become a teacher. We live in Valley Ranch, and this is my 6th year teaching, all of them in Kindergarten. I have 2 children, Meghan (3) and Blake (1). Life is definitely interesting!!!
