Blue Blue Blue...

Everywhere I turn, I see blue!!!  Thank you for remembering to wear something blue today.  We read Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCloskey in honor of blue day, and then practiced our fine motor skills by cutting out a bush and bear to help us retell the story.  Ask your child to tell you all about the adventures of Little Sal and the bears on Blueberry Hill from the story!

We had our 1st indoor recess today.  Right as we went to lunch, the skies opened and gave us some much needed rain!  Unfortunately, this means no outdoor play!  We did manage to go outside for a mid-morning snack of delicious blueberries (thank you, Tommy!) and a little bit of play.

Tomorrow is RED day.  Remember to wear something red and if you have something red that you would like to share, please bring it in!
