We have started out Me and Family unit this week. We talked about how each of us is unique and special and introduced the 5 senses. For homework (yes, homework!), please help your child complete the sheet in their folder. Tomorrow, we will be talking more about how we are unique and special - starting with our names. The homework is to tell the story of how your child got their name.
If you ordered Scholastic Books - they came in today and should be in your child's backpack. There were many great selections. Happy reading! Thanks to the parents who donated or bought books from my wish list - they will be great additions to our classroom library.
